The Christian County Sheriff's Office reported the following to Regional Radio News;
2/13/25
Zachary Massie, 31, of Pana was arrested by the Pana Police Department for Domestic Battery.
Braxton Schaffenacker, 30, of Pana was arrested by the Illinois State Police for Child Pornography.
2/12/25
James Krouse, 43, of Taylorville was arrested by the Christian County Sheriff’s Office for Criminal Damage To Property and Domestic Battery.
2/12/25 at 7:03 p.m.
Mallory Lawyer, 36, of Owaneco was traveling North on 1800 East RD at 1635 North RD when it hit a patch of ice in the roadway. The driver lost control and began skidding to the eastside of the roadway and struck the ditch embankment at 1800 East RD and 1640 North RD. The vehicle continued traveling in the ditch until it struck a cluster of small trees. The vehicle was towed from the scene by Taylorville Towing.
2/12/25 at 7:17 p.m.
Walter Homeier, 51, of Edinburg was traveling West on 1900 North RD when he lost control of his truck due to snow and slush on the road. The vehicle went into a skid, then rolled over hitting a ditch and coming to a stop with the truck no longer on its wheels resting on the driver side door. The vehicle was towed from the scene by Kertow’s Towing.
